On 19 January 2026, a coordination meeting of Polish project partners was held at the UNEP/GRID-Warsaw Centre, attended by representatives of UNEP/GRID-Warsaw, the Space Research Centre of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Migration Research Centre of the University of Warsaw. The discussion focused on defining the project's research area and analysing the availability of satellite data from different time periods. The partners agreed to conduct analyses in three districts of Kenya – Masinga, Yatta, Mwala and the Nairobi metropolitan area. During the meeting, the design of the project website was also discussed and various logo concepts were presented. The method of working on the data management plan for the project was also discussed.
